On 16 September 2022, Dr. Nyo Tun Aung, the Second Commander in Chief of Arakan Army or AA (armed wing of United League of Arakan), made a poetic post which includes (can be translated as) "Oh, for my brothers and sisters who has asked to remind when the last battle is come, let me whisper the time is arrived".
AA has resumed its war against the Tatmataw since last month, and unofficial information remarked that AA has captured more than 30 Tatmataw outposts in recent days. According to a news this morning, AA has captured two more outposts of the Tatmataw, combining a total of eight, in Paletwa Township, Chin State.
